Documenting Your Project

Useful documentation is an integral part of your Analyzer Project. Analyzer provides a high degree of flexibility and control for documenting the steps you take during the course of an analysis. In addition to reports, Analyzer provides several ways for you to record comments and observations about your work. For example, you can:

Use notes to record comments about each project item (table layout, View, index or workspace). For more information, see Project Item Properties.
Use comments in the Command Log to record information and observations about commands and their results. For more information, see Adding Comments to the Log.
Use the Command Log to View and print a complete record of commands and results. For more information, see Print Options.

You can record a much richer set of information using the file history and you can print highly specific reports using the print documentation options.
