Keyboard Shortcuts

The Procedure Editor offers many useful keyboard shortcuts:

CTRL+A

Highlights all lines in a procedure

CTRL+F

Opens the Find dialog

CTRL+G

Advances to the specified line number

CTRL+H

Opens the Replace dialog

CTRL+Z

Performs an unlimited undo of text edits, copies or pastes sequentially in reverse step mode from the last (most recent) edit to the first edit. Can also use the main menu Edit/Undo option.

F3

Repeats the last search downwards from last search

SHIFT+F3

Repeats the last search upwards from last search

CTRL+F3

Searches down from highlighted text

CTRL+SHIFT+F3

Searches up from highlighted text

F1

Launches Help for the Procedure Editor

F2

Launches field selector

F4

Launches Project Item selector

F6

Used in step mode to run procedure one line at a time

F7

Used in step mode to halt step mode and run procedure to completion

F8

Launches Date Selector

TAB

Indents highlighted lines

SHIFT+TAB

De-indents previously indented highlighted lines

CTRL+TAB

Cycles sequentially to the right through open procedure tabs in the Application window

CTRL+SHIFT+TAB

Cycles sequentially to the left through open procedure tabs in the Application window
