The Wizard will automatically attempt to identify field boundaries in your data. The Wizard designates field boundaries using vertical lines called field separators. Click [Next] to accept the Wizard’s analysis and continue, unless you are manually defining a file that has no file layout.
If your data definition shows different field lengths, you can delete, create or move the field separators to make the default column widths match the data definition.
| • | To add a field separator, click at the desired location |
| • | To delete a field separator, simply click it or click “Clear All fields” to remove all |
| • | To move a field separator, click it and drag it to a new position. |
Note: You can only define overlapping fields manually by editing the Table Layout after exiting the Wizard. See Defining/Editing Fields and Filters
