Commands Overview

Commands are powerful tools for manipulating and analyzing data. Commands instruct Analyzer to perform a variety of tasks, from counting the number of records in a file to forming complex relationships between files.

Analyzer has over seventy commands. More than thirty commands can be used interactively from the menu or from buttons in the button bar. All commands can be used in command mode and in procedures. For detailed information about using Analyzer commands, see Commands.

The main commands are available from the Data and Analyze menus.
