Command Log

Analyzer automatically creates a Command Log when you create an Analyzer Project. The Command Log records and displays the commands issued and results obtained during your data analysis project. Using the Command Log, you can perform analyses without having to save or print your results.

The Command Log acts as valuable documentation which you can use to retrace your steps and repeat earlier results. It also provides an excellent resource for the reports you will need to generate at the conclusion of your project.

The Command Log also functions as a text interface for issuing or editing commands in command mode, rather than through command dialogs.

Function keys are also available within the Command Log to assist in specifying commands. For more information see Function and Control Keys.
