Flattening a Print Image File

Once you have finished defining fields and records, Analyzer prompts you to name the flattened print image file and its corresponding table layout:

1. In the Print Image File Definition panel, click [Next].
2. Analyzer prompts you to specify the name and location to save the flattened version of the report file you have defined. Click [Save] to create the flattened file and proceed to creating the associated table layout.
3. The Wizard displays the Edit Field Properties panel.
4. You can click on the heading for each field and review the field attributes and modify them as appropriate (field name, data type, column title, format, etc.). Click [Next] to accept the field definitions.
5. The Wizard displays the Final dialog, listing the final file and field definitions and prompts you to name the table layout for the flattened report file.
6. Enter a name in the Table Name edit box. Click [Finish].

Note: Uncheck the open table checkbox if you don’t want to open the new table layout.

7. Analyzer closes the Data Definition Wizard and displays a default View of the new table layout and its flattened report data.
