Export to MS Excel Files

There are two methods of using the Export command to create Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

Excel

If the Excel option is selected, there are a several distinct options for creating the desired spreadsheet:

Choosing either of the ODBC(XLSX), XLS or XLS21 radio button options will use the appropriate version of the installed 32-Bit Excel ODBC driver(s) on the current machine (local machine or Arbutus Windows Server machine) to export the desired spreadsheet.
Choosing the XLSX radio button option will use OPENXML to export the desired XLSX spreadsheet instead of using a 32-Bit Excel ODBC driver.

ODBC

IF the ODBC option is selected, you will choose the desired Excel 32-Bit ODBC driver or data source to export the desired spreadsheet.

Note: The maximum field length for EXCEL exports is 254 characters.

Note: The maximum length of an EXCEL worksheet name (by default derived from the Analyzer table name) is 64 characters.

Note: Blank dates are exported as empty/blank dates in the Excel spreadsheet.
