Displaying Variables

Both existing command-created and user-created variables can be displayed in the optional Variables window. The Variables window can be opened in two ways:

Automatically opens when using Step Mode in procedures
Click Show/Hide Variables window via the Windows menu

Note: By default, when opened, the Variables window remains open for the session but is automatically closed when the current Analyzer session ends.

When opened, the Variables window appears at the bottom of the Overview window and is re-sizable.

The Variables windows displays the current values of all existing system and user-created variables. When using step-mode in procedures, any new or changed variables are highlighted in the Variables window as each command is executed.

Additionally, any of the Listview columns in the Variables window may be sorted (ascending/descending), by clicking on the column heading, re-arranged by dragging, and resized by dragging on the column right edge.

Note: To display variables in the Command Log, use the Display Variables command. For more information see Display.
