This option displays a warning before Analyzer overwrites an existing file or fields/variables. If you turn this option off, Analyzer overwrites files/fields without asking for confirmation. This option can also be set in command mode. By turning this option off, you can avoid interruptions while executing a procedure that is designed to overwrite existing files/fields.
Tip: By turning this option off (i.e. SET SAFETY OFF in a procedure), if your procedure defines fields on the fly, there is no longer the need to delete the field in the procedure prior to defining it for subsequent running of the procedure.
Note: Overwritten project items or data files on a Windows-based platform will automatically be sent to the recycle bin for possible later recovery.
