Set Escape

Set Escape OFF prevents user from using the ESC key to cancel a procedure. This is most useful for externally created procedures where the author doesn’t want the execution of the procedure interrupted. Set Escape ON will re-enable the ESC key.

Command Mode Syntax

SET ESCAPE {OFF|ON}

Note: Set Escape Off will also disable the CANCEL button in user created dialogs using the Dialog command in procedures.
