Append is a command parameter in many Analyzer commands that lets you add command output to the end of an existing file. Appended files are therefore not sorted.
For example, you can append two output files created using the Extract command by saving each of the new files with the same name, using the Append to Existing File option. When you do this, Analyzer appends the second extract to the first.
